Pokémon Charizard X vs Charizard Y

If you had a competitive 10/10 Charizard, what would you mega evolve him into?

X or Y?

I personally prefer Mega Charizard Y because it looks cooler. Anyway, there are already too many competitive dragon types to chose from

One is special attack oriented and one is physical attack, I'm not sure you can compare their versatility as they fill different spaces.

Y is very useful because of drought and ability to learn heat wave however, so this will take my vote (but ninetales does this better I feel).

I prefer Charizard Y, not only do I prefer the design(traditional Charizard) but I also like it having extra fire damage from having drought. I certainly wouldn't say I dislike Charizard X though.

I prefer X, mostly because it loses flying so now it's no longer 4x weak to the all mighty Stealth Rock, and freaking Tough Claws.

Y's cool with the Drought ability and it looks more like Charizard than X does, but Stealth Rock...uggh...

I've always prefered Charizard X for purely aesthetic reasons. I'm not a big fan of either of them though.

This is a tough call for me to make as I like them both very much, but I guess I like Mega Charizard X's colouring better. Also, I feel like that mega evolution makes charizard look more epic!

I use both. More comfortable with Char Y competitively. I think both could use a redesign, however. :c

I like them both. = ) However, Charizard X looks cooler in the Ken Sugmori artwork rather than in the game.
