So there’s already a few characters with surnames - the Nooks, the Resettis, and K.K. Slider being the ones that immediately spring to mind.
But of course, most characters don’t have surnames. If you had to come up with a surname for a character, who would it be and what name do you think would suit them? It could be a villager or a non-villager character. 😀

I thought of these for my islanders.

Moe Cheetohs
Katt Mandu
Merry Berry or Merry Christmas
Chevre Fromage literally means goat cheese in french.
Raymond Bradbury after the author
Zucker Takoyaki
Aurora Borealis
Hamphrey Ires
Deirdre Doe
Kid Cat Quadriceps ???

I thought it was a funny coincidence that both of my starters were naturally named after their species:
I have Katt Cat and Antonio Anteater!

Most of these were really fun to try to come up with!
Whitney White
Rosie Posie
Rudy Riverdale
Fang Volkov (I have a head canon that Fang originally came from Russia due to his obsession with KK steppe)
Bob...doesn’t have a last name, he’s a cryptid
Chief Longhorn
Skye Mail
Raymond Robertson
Audie Autumn

Well this seems fun. And some are just like, obvious choices.

Billy Goat.
Plucky Disposition
Tucker Doubt
Carrie Around
Wendy Day
(Lucha Door)
Marina ...something
Phil Advised
Miranda Quackington
Admiral... Is a title. We don't know his real first OR last name.
