Haven't been watching it, but the concept is very interesting! Can't help but wonder if the writer of the original story got any say in it, though.

Ooh I fell asleep early last night. You've got me wondering about that too now. The show has a pretty deep plot for only two episodes so far. There were points where I was VERY confused, but they cleared things up. ALOT of characters are also introduced in a short time.
