About a month ago, I was having villagers I liked pinging me daily to move, and I without thinking, said "Don't go!" Well, now two of them need to go. Will they go? I've had two villagers move in and two villagers move out since then, but how long until they'll ask to leave again. I have been bullying them as much as possible to encourage the thought, but will I have to wait until a certain number of other villagers ask to leave before they'll leave or anything?

If you hit them with nets, it won't do anything. If you ignore them, it should work faster

Bullying your villagers actually doesn't make them want to move out more. I don't think you can get the same villager asking to move out twice in a row, but otherwise, any of them asking to move has a fair chance of happening.

I hit Sylvia and Rocket with nets for a year, and they didn't move. I ignored them, and yet they still didn't move. If you become friends with them, then they'll ask you to move sooner. That's how I got both of them out in a week. ^3^

But will they ask to leave again? Is there a certain waiting period? I've had other villagers ask to move, and actually move since then. And with my methods I've gotten four villagers out recently.

And we are friends, one of them recently gave me her picture.

What villager pings is random aside from the friendship element. I've had Fang ping twice in a row (no, you silly wolf, you're staying forever). So yes, they might be the ones to ping again, or they might not be.

I agree that its random as well. I have had villagers who I barely talked to/ignored ask me to move out right away, and some not. As well as villagers I was very close with constantly ask me to move on, and some not as well. Maybe thats just how it is for me, but yeah I believe its just random.

They should ask to ping again. I have had most of my villagers ask waay more than once. Bangles been the one to ask me every single time the past few weeks (she really hates my town, hmm?) Just be patient, they'll be out soon enough

I also agree that it seems to be (a bit) random, though some seem more stubborn than others when it comes to moving. My dreamies almost always ask to move out more than the villagers that I'm actually trying to move out. So recently I've been testing the "become friends with the ones I want out" theory, and it seems to be working quite a bit.

There is no trick or trend to getting your villager to move. The system randomly picks one though it is least likely to pick villager last to have moved into your town. In fact it rarely does... But it can still happen.

Actually once while I was trying to move some villagers out, Lobo tried to ditch me not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES in a row. I almost let him because he SO OBVIOUSLY HATES ME /rageface

But yeah it's rare. A newer villager has a rarer chance to move, but after your old ones have pinged a few times the chances should go up. I've had decent results with two methods:

1. Actually became friendly with the villager I wanted out
2. Introduced myself to wanted mover, then ignored until they pinged me to get out.

Abusing them doesn't make the process any faster. In fact I think it tends to have the opposite effect. So yeah, don't abuse 'em. Just be patient and they will ping~
