Hello guys! :D
I really want to play online on ACWW, but then I should change WPA into WEP! How do you do this?

When I asked my internet provider about this, they said that the WEP settings were not as secure as the WPA settings, and that their systems would not even do it anymore. There may not be an answer for you.

Sigh! Well, allright! I'll just have to accept that technical stuff will never work for me, because it never does! :(

This thread can be closed! :p

Type your IP address in, and log in with your username and password. Then you can change the settings there.

I really wouldn't recommend it though.

Edit: It's either your IP or the default number. ;_; I don't remember which.

Well, I can't even log in, so I'll just have to forget about this. I hope AC 3DS will come soon! :(

Just on my experience with WEP connections, I will recommend a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector.
I recommend it as even though my connection is compatible with WEP and WPA, I kept getting irritated that my Animal Crossing Wild World didn't connect.
I didn't want to change the setting just in case as I like to have a secure connection for my PC, Laptop, all of my consoles that use WPA connections and my iPod Touch.

I decided to take a risk and purchase a Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector from Amazon UK not knowing whether or not it would be a waste of money or not and to my delight, I was able to figure out that I didn't need to tweak any settings as I just turned off my Firewall and Anti-Virus, installed the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector and it has worked well to this very day as I have downloaded quite a few event Pok?mon on Pok?mon Diamond, Pok?mon Pearl, Pok?mon Platinum, Pok?mon HeartGold, Pok?mon SoulSilver, Pok?mon Black and Pok?mon White now.

I have also got a friend code for Animal Crossing Wild World which made me happy.

tl;dr Get Nintendo WFC Connector
The only problem with the Connector is that it doesn't work on most Windows 7 machines. It's got to be 32 (maybe 64 bit?) in order for it to work meaning Vista/XP/ maybe one version of 7. Nintendo stopped trying to make the stuff compatible which made me all kinds of sad.

And i'm pretty sure they stopped selling them...

Well, I've got this Connector, but when I put it in my computer, nothing happens...? :o

This is exactly what I did.

Turn off Firewall.
Turn off Anti-Virus.
Insert Installation CD.
Install Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector.
Restart PC.
Connection Test on my Nintendo DS.

Though typically you can keep the first two on, you jsut need to make an exception for the connector under Firewall settings and Anti-Virus typically doesn't mess with the connection.

This might work for other people, but I have had problems with the Nintendo Wi-Fi USB Connector when I have made an exception as it only seems to have worked with turning off both of them before I install it.
