I'm so unhappy with my town map, it's really inconvenient .. I have rocks and little ponds the most stupid places (like directly in front of my town hall and stuff) and i don't know I really really wanna change the town map, nothing seems to work with paths and stuff and ugh I just hate it. But I feel like it'd take foreeever to get all the stores back and that stuff... so I'm really hesitant... :(

Has anyone here changed their map? Was it hard to "recover" and get all the stuff back? Did you regret it?..

Most of the time rocks end up being in front of the town hall and retail. I personally didn't regret it, although I always end up having a bunch of rocks to cover up.

I'm on my sixth or seventh town at this point. I have two 3DS's though so I've always been able to transfer stuff over besides my very first reset in which is did suck trying to get everything back again.

Yeah I don't have another copy of the game and stuff. It sucks I don't wanna lose the dreamies I finally got xD

I've reset my game about 5 times now. Each town had its pro and cons. I strongly believe that there is no such thing as a perfect town. Every town I had had its quirks, usually badly placed rocks. In the end I just learned to love it and roll with it. I haven't played the game in a while, but that's because I got sucked into The Sims 3 and real life duties. I'll probably play again and will have to reset since I hate playing in really old towns. We'll see, but I' suggest keeping in mind the fact that no town is perfect.

I've reset my town many times because I hated my town map. At first it's really a pain to get all of your stuff back but I think in the end it's worth it. I don't think it's very fun to play with a town that you don't really like, you know? Because then everything bothers you and it's not very pleasurable and more like a drag to play (for me anyways). If you time travel it wouldn't take that long to get everything back. If you don't... then just enjoy playing it slow, I guess. :p

However, I think the most important thing to remember is that no town will ever be perfect. Even the people who have the most beautiful towns has had many struggles I'm sure. You just gotta work around them. :)

Yeah but as okaimii said, its not really that fun for me to play because I hate everything in the town xD hmm
