Celeste problem

I was really debating posting about this but I’m concerned and curious at the same time. I last saw Celeste on my island on April 21st, over two weeks ago. Since that visit, I haven’t seen her on my island, nor have I had any shooting stars. I play consistently and am usually up until 1am, so it’s not for lack of looking. All other guests have cycled through normally.

And so I ask.. has anyone else had dry spells like this? Will she eventually show up? Is my island cursed?

she has not been to my island in at least a week, probably longer. I play pretty late into the evening where I live due to school and work, so I think it's just bad luck. I haven't seen Gulliver in probably a month and redd has yet to return. I just visit her in other player's towns now, when I have time to drop by.

2 weeks isn't that long. Celeste and shooting stars need a clear night to spawn. From me time traveling in mass to collect the zodiac recipes (still working on it) she is guaranteed to spawn once per zodiac cycle. If you get her more than once a month, consider yourself blessed.

EDIT: Meteor Showers are not guaranteed per cycled.

Celeste will appear at 7PM, same with shooting stars. If you don't see her, try entering a building.

I have a similar problem with CJ and Flick. Each has only been to my island one time.

I visit other islands to get the DIYs from Celeste, the problem for me is that I can't get the other zodiac DIYs for crap lol. I only have Taurus and Leo, I've probably gotten all the normal DIYs from her at this point but not the zodiacs.

So far I've only had Celeste twice - about once a month. I've had Wisp way more often. I seem to get Wisp once or twice a week.

I think you can only get the zodiac recipe if the host is actually in that zodiac date range.

If visiting another person's island for Celeste the DIY is random, even if you don't have the zodiac for that month yet, unless you own every other non-zodiac recipe. Only on your island is it guaranteed.

I have only seen Celeste maybe 2 or 3 times since launch, more concerned about Gulliver because I want the golden shovel but I haven’t seen him in about a month. At least with Celeste we can visit others islands who have her and get her recipes that way.

this starry owl has only visited me like 3-4 times and its rather disappointing. I see everyone like celeste is here!!!! celeste there!!!!! now whenever I see a person hosting her I go visit so I can obtain her diys quicker that also means easier and quicker ways to get more fragments if they have a meteor shower.

She's been on my island maybe twice since launch, but my sister gets her all the time... it's just kinda weird like that I guess. I also go to other people's islands now for her DIYs since they're so nice.

just bad luck unfortunately I see her weekly, but I rarely see gulliver, and redd hasnt shown up at all since his initial visit.
wisp LOVES my island though (hes here like every 3 days), and I see CJ and Flick a lot as well

I only got her for the first time a couple of weeks ago after two months of playing so it's just bad timing I guess
