I'm not fond of cedar trees so I was thinking of replacing all of them in my island with regular ones. However, before I do, is there any reason to keep them? Those who time travel (or just anyone who knows) will I need cedar trees specifically at some point in the future?

The only reason I can see keeping them is if certain bugs only show up in those types of trees. I know the bagworm, spider, and wasps all fall out of regular hardwood trees, but not sure about other creatures.

I don't think you would need them since they don't really provide a specific purpose like fruit trees, but they do have pretty lights in winter.
