I know you can plant 1k bags to get regular saplings to grow...

Is there a cedar sapling equivalent? Or you have have to always get them from Leif?
 
wow... now i feel like a total noob ahahhaa here I am buying sapling from the garden shop daily to decorate my town painstakingly slow.
 
Wow... I never even thought of the 1k sapling trick. This would have helped when I was preparing for the cherry blossoms T_T
