I left ACNL for a week and I KNEW someone would leave me...so I logged on with a new character and found Wolfgang had left. I spent 4.5m on that guy so NO WAY was I letting him go. With the use of TTing, Wolfgang is now safely back in Dwerll. >8)

Poor guy. I imagine him being like "oh god YES! The mayor is finally gone! I can leave!" and he packs up and moves away and he's made some new friends and then he blinks and he's back in his old home. and I'm in front of him like "nice try. you will NEVER be able to leave. EVER."

I've seen so many threads of "____ left me WHYYY", I want to know if anyone else has ever caught their villager before moving?

Yes, and ironically with Wolfgang. Merry tipped me off that he was thinking of going, so I walked in front of him a few times, saved/quit/reloaded a few times, finally got him to ping and it turned out his moving date was the next day.

(...and then I just let him go to the void anyway 'cause I didn't care, lol)

Well, I was trying to TT out Erik using a combo of in-game and 3DS clock. Once, Kabuki disappeared, and I couldn't find him by TTing back. I don't remember how I solved it, but I finally found a date he was still there and stopped him.

I haven't caught a villager moving. They just move out on me since I'm too lazy to do that lol.

I've caught Olivia and Stitches before. Stitches, unfortunately, I did not catch the second time...
