I have had my original 5 since day 1, so I've changed their catchphrases/greetings a LOT, especially to make it entertaining, as I've played with them about 600 days straight now. I'm not sure I can remember them all, but here are some of the ones I can remember:
Antonio (greetings): "I snack on ants", "I'm a beefcake", "Ants are tasty", "Konnichiwa"- got desperate for something!
Antonio (catchphrase): "punk!", "dude", "hitman", "snort", "spit", "weakling"
Skye (greetings): "Talk to me", "Hello, my friend", "Hey, there!", "I'm blue", and "Konnichiwa"- see a trend when I get desperate? LOL
Skye (catchphrase): "airmail", "jumpy", "grrrrr", "howl", "achoo"
Papi (greeting): "Beat me!", "I'm a horse", "Neigh there", "Speak now human" and "Konnichiwa"
Papi (catchphrase): "neigh", "jumpy", "ride me", "hit me"
Maelle (greeting): "I'm stupid", "I hate me", "Quack to me", "Quit quacking" and "Konnichiwa"

Lily (catchphrase): "toady"- that's it, it was her catchphrase in 2002's Animal Crossing, so I returned it back, and won't change it ever again!

Most of mine aren't very funny, but I found the perfect greeting for Friga (a penguin): "I'm cool." If I talk to her more than once, she'll sometimes say, "I'm cool again."
