Catching Scallops

The first two ones I caught were easy, but now I can never catch up too them. Is there an easy way to get em?

Scallops have a medium size shadow and are not too close to the shore, but not distant into the sea. I'd say it's in midrange when it comes to diving in your town. That's all I can really recommend.

^Are you sure? I frequently find scallops right next to the shore.
They're definitely scallops because nothing else has the same size/movement (since octopi are no longer in season).

To catch them easily, just try to practice landing on them with your dive, then swim as fast as you can towards it xD

It's kinda odd how you dive, but your underwater shadow will show up somewhere around where your head is while swimming

Also, make sure that you don't head towards the rope barrier DX

and remember when you're running out of breath, you move a bit faster.
