I use my phone to catalog stuff, you know you like press on stuff you got in your app so you don't have to buy everything twice or more and can just focus on getting new stuff into your catalog!
You do it too? I don't know how I would ever be able to even get half the stuff if I didn't have the app....

Hmm... I usually have a good memory of what I have and what I don't. If I had known there was some sort of app, I would of used it haha.

What? I'm so confused. What app?

A user on here made an app for NL, where it has information on cataloging, bugs and fish, coffee orders, and a few other things (I think.)
>>here<< It's for both Android and iOS.

I don't do the catalog on my phone. I just use moridb.
I do use it though to track what I have already donated to the museum. As well as the fish, diving, and bug stuff... easier to tell what I am missing and how to get it that way.

I don't have a fancy enough phone to use an app like that...though I did find a website that serves the same purpose of cataloging. c:

EDIT: It's not MoriDB, though I use them both in conjunction.

I use MoriDB for when I need to find out where to purchase an item, it's sell price, or theme: http://moridb.com/

I use this website for keeping track of what I've purchased and what I haven't. I prefer the pictures here, plus it has a Cafe and Art guide. The Custom Furniture guide is severely underdeveloped, but I can live without it. When you first access the site, it assigns you an ID. You'll want to keep this number if you use the catalog on a different system so they share the information. I keep mine saved in my game notes on my 3DS: http://animalcrossingnl.mooo.com/

I love that app! I have it on my iPad, I used to do good at cataloging everything then I reset and I just haven't felt like doing it again!
