Cat & Bunny themed town?

So I have a second copy of the game in the mail on it's way, and I was thinking up ideas for what I want to do with it. I already picked out the exact map I want, but now I have time to think of ideas. So I was thinking of making a cat and rabbit town, and planned to make two of the houses cat and bunny themed cafes. However I'm not sure what to do with the other two houses (I was planning on making all four characters) as well as what kind of landscaping I should do. For villagers I'm just planning to get in 5 rabbits and 5 cats (just picking which of each I'd like)

So I was wondering, what do you guys think of this idea? I was originally going to do all just cats but I thought it'd be nicer to mix it up and do half and half.
Thoughts on what I can use the other to characters for?

Oh, and I was also thinking of naming the town Basil but I'm not sure if that's a bad/stupid name or if it's a suitable name, so also maybe town names as well?

Basil while being a given name is also the name of an herb. So maybe give your other characters herb related names?

I'm doing the same-ish, but with Koalas and Kangaroos and I named my town Sydney So far I have Canberra and Yuka, I still need Ozzie, Alice, Sydney, Melba, Astrid, Mathilda, Kitt and Rooney

As long as they were cats or bunnies it'd be fine with me, even if they weren't high tier ones. However I was considering Carmen and Bunnie for two of the bunny villagers.

Sounds really cute OP!

For a town name how about Cabbit? It's a fictional hybrid of a cat and a rabbit. Basil sounds nice too though!
