Physical copy hands down! I'm an avid game collector, so I always like to be able to hold the box in my hand and add it to my shelf. Not only that, if you download it on your DS as a digital copy and your 3DS kicks the bucket (like mine did) you won't be able to get that data back unless you fix it. I lost two digital copies of new leaf when both my 3D'S broke and were unfixable. Hard copy is the safest choice.
For me it depends on how big of a hurry I am to get a specific game. If I positivity can't wait I go electronic version. However, if I'm in no rush I will buy the retail version.
Physical hands down! If your 3ds dies or breaks, you'll still have your town nice and safe on it, plus if you get bored or sick of it later you can always resell it or trade it in. Also it's less likely to corrupt, and it's sometimes nice to have a physical copy of games you love, so you can play it years later or go back on it for nostalgia.
yeah physical copy is awesome but if youre the type to lost your game a lot maybe digital? unless you lose your ds, then its better to have physical copy so that you can take out the cartridge if you play other games as well
I would go digital personally but only because I have a physical cartridge and I would prefer digital so I can go places without all of my games- I don't really marathon ACNL so it's more a few minutes here and there- I'd like to get my fix and immediately move on to something else without having to pop the cartridge out and put in a new one. (keep in mind, it's purely because I'm lazy)
I have both and don't really have a preference either way. I suppose convenience would lend itself to purchasing a digital copy, as this would always be on your system.
physical. i've heard so many horror stories of digital copies corrupting, but i'm not aware of any physical copies doing so. someone correct me if i'm wrong, lol.
