cant upload animated signatures!

so im trying to update my signature with an animated one and i cant. it just keeps saying cant upload animated images. i am using this

[img]pasteurlhere.gif[/img]

and even tried not adding the . gif to the end, i have used the direct link and imgur and its not working and i dont know wht im doing wrong. i saw other people use anmated ones but i cant get it. can someone please help me?

Maybe you put the wrong URL address. The correct URL from imgur should be from the address bar and not on the sidebar on the imgur page of the image.

I think I saw the problem. Did you put the “i.” in the URL before the word “imgur”?

nevermind i got it! i tried uploading it first on this site but it wouldnt work and instead of refreshing the page i just pressed back and tried to edit it thru imgur. anyways, it was still there trying to upload. refresh the page and im good, thanks though!!
