Can't reset Nintendo account password - help!!

I want to log into the Nintendo eshop on my Switch Lite but unfortunately I seem to have forgotten my password. After a few failed attempts I clicked on the forgotten password link and when I got the password reset email I followed the link to go and reset it. I have tried several times to reset my password and it just doesn't work. I have tried using both my date of birth and my user ID, both of which I'm certain i'm putting in correctly, but when I click the "Submit" button it just takes me straight back to the same page!! I thought maybe it was a browser-related problem at first but after trying this in 2 different browsers this now doesn't seem to be the case.

Please help, I need to know how to get back into my account!

I have called them in the past and they can help you with this! They have helped me before witth he same problem!
 
It sounds like a browser issue, so it might be a good idea to try it on a different one. But if that doesn't work, I suggest directing further inquiries to Nintendo's support staff as linked above as they would obviously be far more familiar with the infrastructure of their site than us.
