Title. For some reason he's not requesting it and it's been quite a while since I started this new town; it's about a month already and i donated 50+ items. Anyone know a possible reason why?

I think you have to talk to him consecutively for a certain number of days. Which is pretty easy given that there's new fossils every day.

Ok had the same problem. Yeah I'm pretty sure from what I've heard he'll just be "thinking" instead of sleeping during the day when he's ready to have the thing built

I think 3 categories is not enough, you need to donate one of each. It took me a while to unlock it because for a while I didn't donate any art items.
