i havent been anle to connect for a while. I can still use the web browser on the 3DS though.. its all in Japanese so I have no idea whats wrong with Animal Crossing

Ohh wait just from what I have gathered translating what I can see - 'network service', 'nintendo e-shop', 'download' - I'm gonna ask if you've updated your game?
If you don't update your game you can't play online so maybe that's your problem?

Its my fault for not playing in such a long time... Can Someone explain the steps for opening gate for WiFi... I might be opening my gate for Local play... What are the steps for searching for Open WiFi gates and not open Local gates?

When talking to Porter, choose the second option which is to open the gate, then choose the second option after that for online play. The first option at the beginning is for traveling to someone else's town and the first option after is local play. Just choose the 2 second option choices and your gate will be open for online play.

2>2 is for open gate online
