can't change marina clothes!

so i've been trying for 30minutes now to change marina clothes but she's just so stubborn! i kept resetting and resetting but she just like her default clothes! then i came to think of it, i got her from another town. so is she stuck with her original town clothes forever?

Nope, try sending her letters with clothes, she may put them on. Often, if another villager gives them clothes, they will change into then straight away

thats what i did. i sent her her original tee through mail

Sometimes they won't change into them.
Try sending right before 5. Then at 5 go and see if she changed into it.
If not reset or try again next day.

Sometimes they display it, sell it, or it just becomes deleted data. Send it to her again

I had the same exact problem with my Marina actually lol. I found a really good tip that worked immediately! Pick out the shirt you want her to wear and get 2 copies of the shirt and send her 2 letters with the shirt attached to each! The next day she should be wearing the shirt

I haven't tried that. I'll be sure to do it with Zucker and Merengue

I can't be sure, but I was having a lot of issues with two of my villagers' shirts, I'd offer them a million shirts and they'd never wear them. Then I did that, and they were changed the next day! So I think the odds are probably good.

She'll eventually ask to change. Sometimes another villager may say that they have a present for her and it'll be clothes she'll change into right away. I wouldn't worry about it, unless she's wearing a custom design from another town you find offensive. Then going to the Town Hall and reporting her to Isabelle will reset her I believe.

I have changed All of my villagers clothes by sending them what I want them to wear through letters. I start with one villager, send them one shirt and wait until the following day. If they haven't changed I will send them another until they change. Sometimes if the villager is super stubborn I may have to send them up to three shirts but no more than that. And yes, they may display a shirt or two in their house but you can eventually change it out with a piece of furiture or the villager may get rid of the shirt on their own.

The letter trick doesn't always work. My Baabara has been wearing the same scarf (the misty tee) since the first week I had my main town--almost two years now. I've sent her shirts in single letter batches, and I've sent her shirts in multiple letter batches. She hasn't worn any, or even displayed them in her home. She did respond once after I'd sent her five letters with identical shirts attached, saying that my letter writing was "excessive." Oh, Baabara.

Haha. I love that she responded to you with that! Must be frustrating for you though! I've never had a villager wear the same shirt for more than a month I think.

Actually recently all my villagers have been changing up their shirts really frequently.
