Buying Candy egg collectible

So, I'm going to give this a try and if it doesnt work, I will just shut it down.

I am aiming to get 5 candy eggs. I already have 3. I bought the first one for 3000 btb while the hunt was ongoing. Then the next two for 2500 btb each. The last two, i bought within the last 2 days, and pretty easily at 2,500, so I am starting to wonder if the market rate is actually even below 2,500 btb.

So... I am offering to buy 2 candy eggs and my offer is for 2,300 BTB each. Hey, the range on those guides doesnt move until someone challenges them, right?

I would say that people are just desperate to sell anything right now. It seems like after the event the community was flooded with collectibles and nobody was buying and everybody was selling. This would make it so when somebody IS buying people almost have to sell for that price if they need/want bells due to lack of buyers.

I wouldnt try to test this theory right now because it will drop the price of this collectible for no reason. Let the community stabilize and recover from the over haul of collectibles.
If you can buy eggs for way low in a few weeks then I would say its safe to assume the reason for your post.

Keep in mind how many are in circulation also.

I would agree with a lot of that, yeah. But it also depends on your situation. If you dont need the bells for something immediate, you might do well to just hold onto it. If these new eggs dont return, they will go up in value over time. Or they should.

But if you want to buy something now, like a collectible or art, then you might feel pressured to sell. I do agree theres a flood of eggs fight now, making it a buyers market.

But this always happens after a new release. Theres a glut of both buyers and sellers. And over the short run, after buyers get what they need, they leave the market. In some ways, if you want to sell, its a race to catch those buyers before they leave.
