can you use acnh sanrio amiibos for acnl?

so im wondering if you can use acnh sanrio amiibos for acnl bc my sis has a friend that make amiibos and she said they might give me some but idk if shes gonna make them for acnh or acnl so im asking before i get them so um ya lol

As far as I know, all of the Amiibo cards are the same. They didn't remake the regular series Amiibo cards prior to Series 5 and those work for both New Leaf and New Horizons, so I expect the Sanrio ones would work for both games too.

They both work as they share the exact same NFC chips. I have tested it. I have a set of the original sanrio amiibo cards and the reprints and they both scan in both games so they are all compatible. It even says on the back of the packet on the new ones that they are.

The originals were never compatible with HHD and so are these reprints so no for HHD. This is the back of the packet where it is listed.
