Can you trade someone in your campsite?

If this is the wrong place for this please let m know. I have Fang in my campsite. I've never had him as a villager but from what I've read he's pretty popular. I would like to offer him to others since he's so popular but I don't know if you can do that with a camper.
If this is possible how do I do it? It seems to me that I would just let the person in my town and they would talk to him until he agrees to move to his town but what do I know? Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

No. Unfortunately, a villager in your campsite can only offer to move into your town, not someone else's. It'd be pretty cool if you could adopt a campsite villager, though!

unfortunately, villagers in the campsite can only move into your town- sucks when its a good villager who you don't want / don't have space for ;;

i had merengue in my campsite yesterday, and tho i dont want her, i didnt have space to adopt her and it felt like a shame

Sadly you can't. I sincerely wish you could though. I know I could've helped out a few people with the campers who decided to camp at my site, and especially when I had 10 villagers!

What you could do is ask him to move into your town if you have enough space. Then you could offer him to others when he decides to move away, or boot him out via Amiibo cards.

Thanks for all the responses guys. It's a shame I can't let someone else get him from the campsite.
ctar17-I thought about that but hoped I wouldn't have to do it that way. I might though if he asks.
