Can you still get PWP requests on shamrock day?

I'm doing the swimsuit trick in hopes to get one a day. Can I still get requests on shamrock day?

I'm pretty sure you won't get any pings on Shamrock Day.
Teddy was thinking about moving and no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't get a ping from him until I time travelled back to the 16th.
That's just my experience though!

Ahh that's frustrating. I'm doing the one year challenge so I don't time travel, but I really need those pings! I'm trying desperately to get the fire PWP from Jay

Actually since shamrock day isn't a major holiday where villagers participate so you should be able to get pings normally. I got a ping from Ken this morning about moving out and I stopped him like normal so yeah.

Yes! this happened to me recently they will ask if you'll allow them to move out.

Villagers can only not ping on major holidays. Shamrock Day isn't major. It's a coincidence
