Can you save City Folk photos on Wii U without a memory card?

I know Wii requires a 2g memory card to save photos but is it the same for Wii U with built in storage?

You will still need an SD card to save screenshots from City Folk on Wii U.

Yes you still need an SD card because the Wii U if I am not mistaken does save photos nor have an application for them. Alsooo my sd card wont save city folk photos for some reason.....

Make sure it's a 2 GB card or smaller. Even though the Wii will accept slightly larger cards, ACCF itself doesn't. If it is 2GB or smaller, make sure it's not locked and try taking it out and putting it back in a few times.

THANK YOUUU!!! I just tried it and it worked!!! YAY! Now I can save all of my City Folk photos finally!!!! So that is why on the Wii menu it will pop up as I have an SD card but on CF it would not work....
