Can you recommend me some DS games?

I'm mostly looking for platformers, like the Castlevania games and New Super Mario bros. I'll take some games from other genres though..

Maple Story DS. It's an action platformer with some rpg elements. I wouldn't compare it directly to more classic metroidvanias because this is more linear. It was only released in Japan and South Korea sadly so progressing in the game could be a bit hard at times. I think there are some fantranslation around though.

A fun game that might be worth a look if you can find it and get past the language barrier.

If you're looking for platformers, I recommend the Super Mario 64 remake. Super Princess Peach isn't bad, either. If you're into puzzle-solving, I highly recommend the Layton series. They're awesome. RPG-wise, any Pokemon game or Final Fantasy remake will do. Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time is also recommended.

You can try Kirby Super Star Ultra. I'm pretty sure 90% of the Kirby games are platformers if you want to try others on different consoles.

Fire Emblem is pretty good! I have Conquest but Birthright goes with the trio of games on a followed path.

Disgaea DS if you want a crazy 4th wall-breaking game that will fill up your next year, so you don't need to worry about buying a new game It's about the prince of the Netherworld, Laharl, who wakes up after sleeping for 2 years. His partner in crime, Etna, has secrets to hide that make her seem to be an enemy. The Netherworld is a crazy place, where violence is the answer. Always the answer. The game has a tactical approach with battles that use a chess-like format. If you love dark humor and 4th wall breaking, then this game is for you.
Edit: Warning! The max level is 9999 and you need to get to like 5000 to beat some of the hardest enemies!
