Can you move?

Hey guys! My boyfriend wants to make a character on my AC:NL and play it until he gets his own DS and Animal Crossing New Leaf game. Would he be able to move his character to his game from mine? How would it work? Thank you!​

Yes he can! All Non-Mayor players can move between games Just select "Move In..." when he starts his game up for the first time and you can transfer his player..

Could he take his stuff with him too? & if he came back to my town, would villagers he met remember his or is it like totally restarting just with the same person?​

I do believe if he visits you the villagers will remember him -- I do not know about items however, although you can send him Items for when he moves and visits you he can take some stuff home with him, I just don't know if transferring a player allows you to have an inventory... but he definitely can take stuff when he visits you afterwards,
