I'm doing some cycling to get my old villagers into my new town, but it's REALLY bugging me how the year is 2028 ahaha... With the 2 year, 5 days method, are you able to do it by going BACK in time? back one, back another year, and then.. maybe back, five days? >_<

If I do just change the years, will anyone move..? I don't wanna lose Punchy or Ankha, who I'm just planning to trade, but nonetheless.

So you want to TT back? Do all 14 years at once, going back doesn't work the same as going forward. Basically, no matter how far you TT back, it'll only count as one day. 1 year? Counts as one day. 2 years? Counts as one day. 50 years? Counts as one day. Of course, TTing forward is absolutely different, because that's related to the distance TTed.
