I'm lazy af and was thinking about paying someone to put paths in my town. So, um, can you lay down patterns in someone else's town?

It's a shame that people can't come in and help fix up your town (other than planting trees and arranging flowers). But on the other hand, it's annoying when you have a path and you keep accidentally erasing parts of it. At least your friends can't come in and rub out your path.

I wish Nintendo would add some kind of "I trust this person" thing where you can allow other people to put down patterns, move furniture etc etc.

That's a good idea. If you list someone as a best friend, they should have privileges like that.
