Can you get villagers if your TTing?

I just read an offer on someone giving up one of my dreamies but i'm back in july (regret) can you still get villagers like that? Not sure if this is the right place to put this.

Yep! If you go get your dreamie and time travel to the current date, they'll be moved in. You might lose a different villager by accident, though.
