Can you get perfect town with bamboo shoots?

Is it possible to get perfect town with just bamboo trees? I got rid of all my fruit trees and normal trees since it wouldn't fit in with my Japanese theme town

According to Liquefy's ACNL FAQ, mature bamboo trees (not shoots) will contribute to your tree count for perfect town status:

...between 110 and 200 trees in town. Palm trees on the beach "count." Bamboo trees "count." Perfect fruit trees that have lost their leaves "count." Shrubs do not "count."

Yea as long as you keep em healthy and don't let random shoots die. I got perf town with lotsa bamboo so yes.
