Can You Get Nookingtons?

This may be asked a lot, but is it possible to get Nookingtons without Wifi, or Ds to Ds, or anything. Help will be appreciated. Thanks.

If you have a local friend you can do a DS to DS connection, but basically you have to have somebody from another town buy something from nooks. The Gamecube version was the same, although it was easy to get around if you had a extra memory card. It isn't really fair to people without wifi though.
