Can you call an amiibo villager's RV after they moved in your town?

If you have an amiibo already moved in (let's say a figure amiibo) can you still call their RV to the campground? Does Wisp replace the amiibo in your town for a whole day?

Nope. Unfortunately. The RV will only appear if they aren't living in your town so you may need to visit other towns if you want to see their RV. If they're already your villager, you can only get a random item (from their RV) every time you scan their card from wisp.
