Can we just talk about Wardell for a minute?

I prefer Wardell over Niko.

I get a lot of … one word …. …. when i speak to him, it could be another sable character where they warm up to you after a while of persistent talking.

Does it have to be timeless tho? I don't think Wardell is meant to be anything remarkable at a glance. (Maybe outside of his species, Manatees are pretty new around here and all)

It doesn't have to be anything. I just don't like it personally.

I love Wardell, especially as the story unfolds and you get to know him a bit better.

Wardell is so sweet. I didn't expect to love his character! I keep talking to him every now and then, just to see if his dialogue has changed whenever I reach a milestone. I'll miss him if he's not in the next AC installment.
If anyone does have his card here, I'd love to see what else he has to say as well. I'd also love a copy of his poster if that person is up for trading!

I don't have the DLC so know nothing about Wardell but I do have his card! I will take some screenshots and report back.

When I called, I was told that the person I invited is bringing others along!

The whole crew arrives! This was actually exciting because I don't have the DLC, haha.

"So tasty... eh?"

"I adore this... place."

"What a... relaxing aroma."

These are his only dialogues, truly a man of few words. He alternates between these and just looking or waving at you when you interact with him.

I mean I find him so cute. I love Niko and Lottie don’t get me wrong but Wardell is so cute. I love how shy he is it’s so adorable. I really hope I can get my hands on his amiibo to invite him for coffee. I like talking to him and seeing how much I can get him to say. I haven’t gotten past 4-5 words. Does anyone find him as charming as I do?

He is absolutely adorable! I love that sometimes he's standing and sometimes he's sitting, and his little facial expressions!

Wardell is definitely a pretty cool addition to New Horizons. Hopefully they find him more roles in future games as well.
