Can TTing cause corruption?

Uh so I made a town just the other day but set my date so it was near start of october. I was doing all daily things then going forward one day etc and repeat. (it was so i'd unlock leif and kicks etc quicker...) anyways so I was just now approaching going onto like 30th october but I tried to load my game and it said my save file was corrupt?

I guess its my own fault and stuff ;c but I just was wondering if it was cause of the TT or just something else? And if it was then I really dont know wha happened? Unless I turned the game off too quickly after it was saving? I dont know i was just curious.
Yeah anyways I guess I need to find a new town now o: Hopefully I find Erik again~
Wont be TTing this time tho xD

TTing Shouldn't kill your game. The too soon in turning it off is much more likely. The only thing TTing usually kills is turnips.

TTing is an option in the game, it shouldn't corrupt it.
