Can the same NNID be used on more than one 3DS?

As the title says. My hubby bought me the N3DS XL Pikachu edition as an early birthday present. I currently have all of my stuff (NNID, themes, etcetera) on my other N3DS. So can I set up the same ID on the new system, or no?

Nope. Only one NNID per system. In order to use the same ID, you have to do system transfer which means everything will be deleted in the other N3DS (at least for now)
