How long do you need him held?
As soon as you can get him moving again. all I need is to go to my main town to pick him up once he's dropped off. I can wait as long as it takes though because I don't want to come off as rude since someone is doing this for me and I understand how random and frustrating the process can be.

Also this may not be the best time to ask this but I was thinking of starting a cycling town. Is there a good guide out there or just general tips one should know before starting one? I couldn't find anything online about it.

Actually yea that sounds about perfect I wanted to do it for a little while just to try it out and see how I felt about it. I'm not ready just yet tho but I'll definitely keep you posted if you're still looking for someone then. I'll read the guide tomorrow, definitely need to do that before anything else really :3
Also another question if I have a villager in boxes, can I keep TTing the time so that that villager doesn't move out and you extend the time for them staying? Like not the actual date just the time? Sorry for all the questions hope i'm not annoying you it's just I can't find this information anywhere >.<
