Can someone help?

I've made two extra characters to hold paths for me and for the last three or four days I've been talking to sable but she keeps just giving me the "...." and then Mabel tells me she's concentrating and busy. She completely refuses to talk to them at all am I doing something wrong?
They both have paid the down payments, have bought something from there, changed heir hair, and other stuff, but still the silent treatment!

Each character has to do the "talk to Sable for x amount of time" before they can use the QR machine.

I think you have to be friends with her first before you can use the QR machine. Just as your first character.

 

[Punchyleaf]

No I know they all have to talk to her to access it after like 10 days or so, but she's not talking to them.

All she says is "...."

Yeah. That's how it starts. Then she'll soon put some words and actually try to talk to you. How long have you been trying?

 

[Suave_Spencer]

You have to talk to her every day for 10 (I think) days in order to unlock it. She doesn't say much for the first few days though.

It's now been 5 days and still the dots

She'll start saying more soon, just talk to her at least once a day, every day.

Is your gate open when you're trying to talk to her? Not sure if that would matter, but it might.

My gates are barely ever opened anymore. And the dialogue changed finally, thanks everyone ^^
