Can playing games like Animal Crossing make ppl nicer?

I forgot who posted this, but while I don't think this game can make people nicer it can make them more kind for a little while. When I play this game I become relaxed and happy, and I end up staying like that for a few hours, which causes me to be more likely to do things for other people or something like that. I feel like if you introduce this game to a young kid and they play it often then it might make them more of a kind person because the game does "force" you to be kind and you get rewarded for it, but usually it's kind people who are already interested in this game (IMO) so that's why the community is nice (and mostly peaceful).
