*like how far of a space needs to be between the gate/tracks and the house, is it 1 or 2 back?

ii removed my pwp fence tbat was in front of it so it has plenty of space! will it work this time?

Yes, I think so. I put a house one space away from the train tracks in plot resetting and was successful.

great thanks!! im not super happy with the spot, bht ii can deal with it.. everywhere else doesnt look right and thats 1-2 spots ii was thinking bht ii wanted to make sure it was okay before ii move to the next day for Mott to move in, and he end up moving somewhere else bc he wouldnt be able to move there ya know lol just wanted to double check!

it didnt work im so upset.. ii forgot my pwp fence, was in front of it, so im assuming it didnt work bc of that, bc of how many space there needs to be from something to the front of the house!! ugh ii messed up.. darn

Oh no, I'm sorry that happened. Did you try standing one space below where you want the house to be (below where the door would go)? Sometimes my houses/PWPs end up in the wrong spot when I'm choosing their spot because I'm standing too far upwards. If it's because of the PWP fence, I'm sorry!

You can knock down PWPs when you plot your house so that definitely wasn’t the problem.

Your house plot isn't big enough. It should be 5 long -wide. You need 2 spaces away from the railroad also to plot your house.

I saw your post before you posted the picture of the plot, but Stella-Io is right. I was able to check for you about the space between the railroad tracks and your house. You need one space between them, which is what I said earlier, I think.

I think you'll have to move it one space down from the train tracks in order for the plot to be sucessful! Hope that this helped out

ii didnt knock the pwp fence down though.. it was already built when ii was trying to do the plot for Mott.. ii did however knock it down NOW, and im going to try again with a diff. villager! should it work now?

You're too close to the rails. The house blocks is right, but deadends like that usually restrict stuff from being 1block away from it.

Not true. I actually have three villagers lined up really close to the rails.


As you can see with Lucky and Marshal's houses, they are both one space away from the tracks.

actually ii already placed the house! and there was no deadend, there was space everywhere ii guess its just how the pic looks

yup thats how ii did it! and it worked!! ii also had demolished my fence and as soon as WolfGang moved in, ii rebuilt the fwnce just a tad bit lower than it was before and away from the house! so im super happy now!
