Can I still plot reset?

Sorry if this is a silly question, but I'm quite new to plot resetting and after reading through a few guides, I'm still a little confused.

I know you are supposed to place paths down all over town the day before, leaving a 3x3 space where you want the villager's home to be. I completely forgot that Marina was moving in today, so I forgot to place down the paths yesterday, went into my town as my mayor this morning, and she has plotted herself right where I was hoping to landscape.

Is there any way I can time travel back a day and still plot reset her or is she permanently plotted there?

Loading mayor automatically saves the game (I think?) so you probably can't go back, sorry :c

I could be wrong though

Unfortunately, once you load up your mayor or other created characters, the town loads and saves permanently. Sorry about that..

Looks like I'll have to work around her.
