Can I sell my perfect Cherries?

after making a huge loss on turnips after spending around 300k on them
and having them all rot :/ I have some perfect cherries I would like to
sell in somebody's town in order to get some money back to invest
in some more turnips (risky I know but hey, a Mayor needs money).

I only have a pocket full I need to sell so
it won't take long at all!
