Buying Can I reserve Knox?

This might seem like quite an odd post but Knox is my favourite villager. I’ve had him for quite a while and am worried he may leave the island soon. Due to him not being a very popular villager if anyone has Knox and is interested in me buying him once my Knox leaves please reply!

1. this is probably better in the new neighbor network and
2. villagers will never leave unless you tell them it's okay (they will have the bubbles, you talk & they say they want to leave, and you tell them to leave, if you mess up just save without quitting immediately and you should be fine).

Hi, I accidentally put it in this thread but I’ve actually had a couple villagers ask me to leave and when I have said no they still left, is that normal?

in new horizons? no. villagers will always ping you before leaving. I've TTed into the future a lot, haven't gotten a single villager who left without me telling them to.

they shouldn't leave when you say no they only did that in new leaf :O

Is it different now? I haven’t had people leave like that in new horizons but it happened in new leaf, hadn’t realised it changed! Thanks for letting me know!!!
