I am plot resetting for a new town and I am trying to get a villager to plot in the area that I have shaded in green in the picture. I know there needs to be one space between the house and the river? But does this also apply for the very corner edge of the house?

Do I need to reevaluate where I am trying to plot this villager?

I am beginning to think that's the problem. I have not gotten her to plot that close. I just wish she would come forward 1-2 more spaces...

No, sadly the villager you're plot resetting for can't move into that spot :c

I thinkg that looks fine. The little bit of grass there should count as part of the 1 space border from the river. If you place a design tile there, that should tell you the spacing :]. It could be that the random plots are just choosing less constrained areas. I've found that plots pattern up (otherwise i would've seen plots in every single available area).

A corner definitely does apply. There should always be enough walking space around buildings in order for it to be possible to plot something there.

I think a good way to find out is that if you can place another rose right above the one already there and in between that corner space then that means you have enough space for the villager to be placed there. Otherwise it won't work.

The plot will probably work in the general area but itll have to be one square over to the right of your placed patterns though unless you don't have enough room on that side too. Good luck either way! Unless you already plotted them somewhere else lol
