Can I plant these bushes here?

I want to make a garden with bushes around the outside like this:


Green = bushes, red = flower clock (once I get it..), blue = stumps, pink = arch PWP.

Did I get the grey buffer zone right and can I put the bushes right up against the side of the arch? Or will I have to leave a space between the arch and the bushes?

You need 1 space between the arch and the bushes on either side. You can also only plant 12 bushes in a row, so you'll need a few open spaces all the way around as well.

When I want to surround an area that large, I start with the corners and leave 2-3 spaces open in the middle of each row. Then, fill those spaces with flowers.

Aw, that's a pain. Thanks. I'll try putting flowers in the corners instead.
