Can I place Maple's home here?

Hi everyone! So I'm hoping to be adopting her soon, and was wondering if I could place her here? I know she's at least 2 tiles away from Dotty on the left, but curious if she'd be too close to the river. I'd place her a little further down, but it's where the town tree is.

What do you guys think? Any help would be great, thanks!

hmm, im pretty sure that is a little to close on the river, i think atleast has to be 1 space away from the river on all sides, so does that pattern mean that the house is inside the pattern? or on the pattern?

It might work, are you planning on plot resetting?

I think it might work. The top right corner is the only concern I have because of the way the river curves, but it looks like a full tile away, so you might be alright.

It wouldn't hurt to have a back up space prepared and plot reset just to make sure, though.

Oh, I just noticed the bridge in the background on the right. That could also give you trouble. I'm not certain how far away a plot needs to be from the bridge after the WA update.

This will 100% work. As long as you've got 1 space all around covered it'll work. You wouldn't believe how close to the train station a villager can move zzz.

The back seems fine! The door may need two spaces, not sure entirely, but I've always done that.

You only need one space on the back and on the sides if near a river (I have villager houses that's literally one space away from the river) so I think you'll be fine putting a house there unless you've ran into this so called acre limit.

Nope, unfortunately it's too close to the river. Plotting houses is super annoying cause you can't fit houses in tiny spaces like this. Hopefully in the switch game you'll be able to plot houses closer together!

here's Coco's house placement in one of my inactive cycle towns.
All villagers there are organically plotted. XD

Thanks for your help everyone! I'm still in the midst of trying to plot her. I accidentally left a space open by the cafe, which I'm trying to keep clear for other plans. I kid you guys not, it's been 15+ resets, and refuses to move from there. I even had a back-up spot where Midge used to live. Won't budge </3

I have two villager houses that are one space away from the river, albeit on the side, though I'm pretty sure the same rule applies if the river is located at the back

I have plotted villagers with one space away from the cliff and river, so I am pretttttttty sure Maple can in fact move in that spot.

If I'm not mistaken either Cheri or Julian (maybe both) have their houses 1 tile from the river so I think Maple should move in that spot.
