Can I get the same villager again after kicking them off my island?

I got Lolly today, and she is my sister's favorite villager. I am going to try to get Lolly to want to leave once she moves into my island, so that my sister can come and invite her to her island. Since I also like Lolly, is it possible that I would be able to find her again on a mystery island or a campsite and invite her back?

Yup, there’s no cycle in this game like there was in New Leaf so you could theoretically get her as soon as she moves out!

Yes! I sold Judy and after that I found her again in mystery islands.

Yes! I've kicked villagers and the very next day I'd find them on mystery islands before!

Yup! I've encountered a few of my OG villagers on mystery island tours a couple of times, so it's entirely possible!

Yup! I TT out Dora and almost immediately found her on a NM island again... I didn't TT her out only to bring her back so I left her on the island

Absolutely. I don't believe "fresh" villagers will have memories, but if you were to theoretically adopt a villager back from the same island they were adopted out to in the first place, they'd remember you. Like others have mentioned, your luck might even line up so that the first villager you run into after Lolly moves out might just be Lolly again. Good luck! : )

As others have said, you can get her back. I saw Zucker on an island the day after he left. But, I wouldn’t count on the campsite. Apparently, you’d have to see just about every other normal villager in the camp before Lolly would show up since she’s been in your town.
