Can I come to somebody else's town to try out the duplication glitch?

I would do this with my other friend, but her 3DS is broken. Please help! I really need to pay off my home loan and I'm getting really sick of finding beetles on the island so frequently.

Duping is generally frowned upon in the public on these forums.... so if you are going to do it, you may not want to broadcast it and bring other people into it

I understand that, but there's not really anywhere else I can go to ask others to help out. I know many people say it takes away the enjoyment of the game, but still. Like I say, I asked my friend before (she's the only one I know with a 3DS and Animal Crossing) and her DS is broken, so I can't really do it. I am new to these forums anyway, and I don't really care about reputation. I only want to speed up the process, even if that means getting looked down on by others. I won't judge you if you disagree with my methods. I won't try to bring anyone unwillingly into the process.
