I would think so.
You could always just take Isabelle over there, and she'll be able to tell you.
If you can't then, just tell her you changed your mind and don't want to build it.
That'd be the best way to find out.

It might be too close to the house on the left / little bit above it. Not sure how far the house is, but I think there should be like 3-4 spaces at least... You should ask Isabelle.

In my first town I had to make one of my villagers move out cuz I couldn't place a straight bridge due to his house location.. It's kinda stupid how much empty room a bridge needs..

I think that you could, as long as you demolished one of the bridges you already have built. Nice town layout, by the way!
