Just kidding guys.

Hi everyone. :> So this thread is about 8 months late. I first joined this forum a couple of years ago actually, as an extremely innocent participant on the forums. It was back when we had the shoutbox on the homepage of the forums. I loved the community here so much that I decided to come back for the Animal Crossing New Leaf release. I feel like there is not another community I would rather share that experience with.

I'm 21 years old, as I was born on February 14, 1992. I currently live in Montreal, Quebec, which is in Canada.
Bonjour everyone.
Yes, I like Poutine.
No, I don't have a French accent.

I've enjoyed playing Animal Crossing since the Gamecube version (Population Growing). I haven't tried Wild World or City Folk. Fantasy Life looks amazing. Does anyone else hope we get it?

You can usually find me posting in the Dutch section (since I speak Dutch), or chatting on the IRC / Mumble. I also love accents a lot, so if you have one please drop by Mumble and make my day. C:

Well, it's nothing special. C: I just like peoples' reactions to it. It's not like being born on Christmas though, where you get double the presents.

Thanks Trundle. <3

& yes, we do make cans in Canada.

Hey there! Better late than never, right? =) Montreal's a fav. destination of mine! I stayed at the Queen Elizabeth which has an underground passage to the Eaton Mall. Anyways, I don't have an accent but I am interested in Fantasy Life! Take care then!

^-^

The Eaton Center. <3 I love that mall so much. I actually work near there.

Yeah, Montreal's a great place but I'm kinda biased. C: How often do you visit? Do you visit for anything in specific?

Oh really? I usually go after the new year & late summer (tho I skipped this season). It's a vacation spot for me; smart, friendly people, great food, & I love the atmosphere. Feels like home. =) I enjoy Montreal so much, I'll brave the Winters there.

If you're there late Winter, I'll come around & drop you a sammich! Nom Nom Nom!! =)

Welcome to the forum! Even though you've been here longer than me, haha.

Ohh neat! You're in TO? I live around an hourish away, maybe we've streetpassed sometime xD I'm not really a fan of the Eaton Centre though :s

I've been to Montreal once, but I don't think I got the full experience because I can barely remember going there xD Might head there some day though, I want to explore everything this great country has to offer! Any must-see sights? :)

Wow, braving the Winter. That's dedication right there. xD

I live here all year 'round, so most likely I'll be here this Winter. C: You should come down when we're hosting the F1, or come down for some parades. We get really festive.

Just a few weeks ago there was a Caribbean thing going on. There were beads and bikinis everywhere.

@windfall

Thank you for the welcome. ^_^ No I'm in Montreal, Quebec. =P But, I have heard a lot about the Toronto's Eaton Center as well.

You must visit the Mount Royal.

Ahh woops, I got confused xD
I read in your first post that you said you live in Montreal, but I scrolled and saw Eatons and my brain hopped to Toronto's Eatons Centre. I didn't know Montreal has one too!

I will have to jot down Mount Royal on a list of things to visit someday.

When I was visiting I can recall a Film Festival running. Attended; it was great. I know I missed the Music Festival a couple of months ago. My friends are still cross w/ me canceling... Ooo- I'll look into this Caribbean event! Many thanks for the info! =)

@ Windfall, Old Montreal is also a great trek from the city area. A modest Science Museum lies there & you've got a scenic port w/ this really, really architectural apartment structure across the bay. If you have the time, the Insectarium (sp?) is def. worth a visit! Lots of insects... & Stag Beetles!!! TONS. New Leaf has prepped us; on sight, we can easily inform our friends & family about these bugs.

@windfall

YES. It's an amazing view at the top.

@Jas0n

I don't appreciate #bullies.

@ben_nyc

That would be Le Vieux Port (The Old Port). That's where the Science Museum is, with all the boats & stuff. You can even go on carriage rides, pulled by horses. It's hard driving on those streets though. Prepare for a bumpy ride.

She's too cool for FAQs, sorry

Uhm, actually I am a person who follows the rules. I enjoy reading the FAQs. In fact, I memorized the ones on this forum.
